Unfortunately, He isn't feeling zappy enough, so to get Him to zap us He needs to get zapped first. We interrupt His Thanos roleplaying to ask Him to zap us up into the sky and into the fortress. Which is actually quite effective when He lives across the street from you. With no recourse, A-lisse's only hope is praying to God. We finally track down the thief's leader, which informs us that the BBEG has entrenched himself in a place equally or more inaccessible than Mordor. despite getting the jump on A-Lisse who didn't expect to find a trapped chest in a rogue's den (she's a bit slow with her RPG tropes) is equally as easy, closing out the trifecta of easy-ish bosses. The Dark Lizard, yet another repurposed midboss, went down as easily as the first one, and the Volcanic Dragon Golem. Yeah, don't know much about it but I'm pretty sure it makes a difference? I heard that it's a flat stat increase in other games so it's not as effective if your companions already have high levels and good gear, but whatever. Considering our companions are all we can use to fight, it's a must equip for us. While we're here, we equip one of the prizes from the dungeon, the Sun Pendant. Last time, we squared off against the first rematch against the Middle Manager of the Bandit King's Base, but in another totally original dungeon.
